Gun Mayhem 2 borrows the central idea of a platform fighter and swaps the punches for pistols. There are no health bars. Every bullet you land pushes your opponent backwards, and the way to win a round is to shove them off the edge of the floating platforms until they run out of lives.
Rounds are short and loud. You start on a small stage of ledges, grab whatever weapons drop in, and spend most of your time trying to keep the other fighters at the wrong end of a gunshot. If you come here from Super Smash Flash 2 for the knock-them-off-the-stage feeling, this is a lighter, faster take on it: one button to shoot, one to throw dynamite, and a lot of jumping.

How to play
Player 1 moves with the arrow keys. Press Up again while in the air to double-jump, and press Down to drop through a platform. Z fires your weapon and X throws dynamite.
Player 2 uses WASD to move, T to shoot and Y for dynamite. Because both players share one keyboard, sit with your hands on opposite sides of it.
The aim is to knock rivals off the stage. Each hit builds knockback, and a player who is pushed past the edge of the screen loses a life. Keep shooting someone near an edge and they will have trouble getting back.
Tips
- Stay near the middle of the stage. Being pushed off the edge is the only way to lose a life, so the centre is where a few hits cannot finish you.
- Use the double-jump to recover, not to escape. If you are flung sideways, jump back toward the platforms before you try to shoot.
- Drop through platforms with Down to change your height quickly and get out of a line of fire.
- Save dynamite for opponents who are already near a ledge, where the blast can push them out.
